Avarto is an AI website assistant built on an open-source runtime stack — with no proprietary AI vendors in the loop (no OpenAI, ElevenLabs, or Pinecone). No per-token lock-in, and your visitors’ conversations aren’t sent to a third-party model.
First-party by construction
The widget runs in your page, so the identifiers it uses are first-party to your own domain — not third-party cookies (which browsers are phasing out anyway). Avarto respects Do Not Track and GPC, keeps visitors ephemeral by default (a persistent profile is linked only with consent), derives a coarse region and never stores the raw IP, and supports full data export and deletion.
Grounded, cited answers
Answers come from your content — crawled pages, uploads, and the actions your site actually offers — with citations. The assistant won’t invent an action or a spec it can’t ground.
